Sensornet and HydroResearch will be jointly exhibiting at ICOLD on stand No. 6.
The 77th Annual Meeting of ICOLD will be held from May 21st to May 24th, 2009, followed by the exhibition 25th-29th May. The exhibition will take place in Ulysses Guimarães Convention Center, Brasilia, Brasil.

Sensornet works together with partner companies such as HydroResearch to provide industry-leading expertise in the area of dam and environmental monitoring. The main application is seepage monitoring in embankment/tailings dams, where the seasonal temperature is used as a tracer in order to detect and quantify the seepage flow.
Together with HydroResearch, Sensornet have carried out over 50 installations to date to provide early warning systems in dams, dykes, and tailing dams. In embankment dams abnormal leakage increase and movements are detected to prevent failures; in concrete dams temperature and strain is monitored to evaluate the integrity of the dam structure.
