Based on distributed fibre optic sensing technology, Sensornet's Digital LNG Leak Detection provides a revolutionary cryogenic monitoring solution that can instantly locate a leak anywhere in the LNG terminal. The following applications within an LNG terminal can be monitored using Digital LNG Leak Detection:
- Loading and unloading pipelines
- Storage tanks (monitoring the annulus)
- Tank base monitoring
- Spill channels and impounding basins
Our Digital Pipeline Leak Detection system is an extremely versatile solution that can be used to detect both liquid and gaseous leaks in diverse industrial applications such as:
- Gas transmission & distribution
- LNG pipelines and tanks
- Oil transmission and distribution
- Steam pipelines
- Industrial processes (e.g. ethylene, ammonia, sulphur)
- Water pipelines
The system can be used along long distance pipelines with repeater stations situated every 60km along the pipeline, providing full coverage of the entire pipeline.
