Sensornet is an approved nominee for the ONS 2008 Innovation Awards with their unique Digital Flow Profiling with Distributed Temperature Sensing (DTS) offering.
Sensornet will be exhibiting at the Offshore Northern Seas Oil & Gas Exhibition 26-29 Aug, Stavanger, Norway. We will be in Hall J, stand 1018-7, in the Scottish Development Pavilion.
Digital flow profiling with distributed temperature sensing (DTS) is a revolutionary new technique for determining distributed flow allocation profiles in deviated and horizontal wells.
This technology combines the high performance Sentinel DTS surface acquisition unit and FloQuest data interpretation software.
The greatest value of the production logging technology (PLT) type of information obtained is secured when the fibre is permanently conveyed with the production tubing across injection or production intervals.
All flow profiles are captured as early as the placement of stimulants and inhibitors. In addition to boosting production and sweep efficiency, the trend and transient information improves reservoir characterisation and field planning.
