Sensornet Announces Collaboration with Bandweaver in Power Industry
Sensornet today announces a global collaboration agreement with Bandweaver to supply monitoring solutions for the global power market. Sensornet is the world leader in supplying Distributed Temperature Sensing (DTS) based power cable monitoring solutions with an extensive track record in the industry. This agreement will cement the long-standing relationship that Sensornet has shared with Bandweaver since 2003.
The joint venture will focus exclusively on providing monitoring solutions for the power utility sector. The range of monitoring systems will be comprehensive, including both DTS based solutions (e.g. Dynamic Cable Rating system) and a range of innovative new technologies to provide increased integrity and performance for the entire network.
