Sensornet's Distributed Temperature Sensing technology selected for prestigious UKTI programme

Sensornet was selected from the best of UK technology companies to present their revolutionary Distributed Temperature Sensing solutions to the United Kingdom Trade and Investment’s (UKTI) Industry Briefing Course held in late Oct 2007.

The principal purpose of the Industry Briefing Course is to enable commercial officers, who lead in the engineering sector in UK Embassies, High Commissions and Consulates, to improve their knowledge of the UK engineering sector’s capability, innovation and knowledge base, as well as the sector’s ability to develop international trade particularly in high-growth emerging markets. Delegates from ten key countries were involved in the programme, with the delegates’ key focus being UK engineering capability in: advanced materials and composites; instrumentation and sensors; automation; and plastics processing machinery. Sensornet was the leading company chosen to represent sensing technology.

Richard Kluth, Operations Director at Sensornet said “Sensornet is honoured to be selected for this prestigious programme.  With Sensornet’s wide range of leading sensing solutions across the oil & gas, power and hydro sectors, this proved an excellent example of how innovative UK industry can prosper in the global market place. It was a pleasure to present to the delegates from around the world and we look forward to working with each of the delegates in their respective countries”.
