Sensornet announces appointment of Neale Carter as new CEO  

Sensornet is today delighted to announce that it has appointed Neale Carter as its new Chief Executive Officer. Neale previously was with EasyWell where he was responsible for growing the company to a $50mn annual revenue prior to Easywell’s acquisition by Halliburton.

Neale stated,  "I am very pleased to be joining such an exciting technology company that is leading the way in development of next generation fibre optic sensing systems".

Founding Director Mahmoud Farhadiroushan stated, "We are extremely pleased to welcome Neale Carter to Sensornet's executive management team. Neale is an exceptional talent and with his strong commercial background and his vast network within industry we are very confident that we will capture many new opportunities and rapidly grow our business on global scale". Mahmoud will now be taking the newly-created position of Chief Strategy Officer and will be overseeing Sensornet's long-term business strategy and the development of next generation fibre optics technology.

Sensornet was co-founded by Mahmoud Farhadiroushan and Tom Parker in 1998. Sensornet received a capital investment in 2002 to develop its market-leading distributed optical fibre sensing technology into commercial products and services across industry.
