Dan Watley
Dan Watley is Sensornet's Technology Manager and oversees the development of Sensornet’s current and future sensing products.
Dan joined Sensornet in 2002 after ten years with Nortel Networks, involved in the research and development of the world’s leading optical communications systems. Upon joining Sensornet he was responsible for the development of the Sensornet DTSS (strain sensor) before accepting responsibility for coordinating the development of Sensornet’s entire product range.
Dan is a chartered engineer with a Masters and PhD from Cambridge University, UK. He has authored 15 journal and conference papers, and has filed 7 patents to date.
